A 52,500 seat rectangular stadium opened in June 2003, Queensland’s home ground for rugby union, soccer and rugby league.

International events have included the 9 pool games and a semi final of the 2003 Rugby World Cup, as well qinternational soccer and regular international rugby union. Suncorp Stadium will host a Semi Final and the Final for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.

Home venue for a number of teams participating in Australian national leagues including the Queensland Reds Rugby Union Team, the Queensland Roar Soccer Team and the Brisbane Broncos Rugby League team.

Concert events have included Robbie Williams and the Police, with Andre Rieu booked for 2008.

Suncorp Stadium provides a unique function and meeting venue at a Queensland icon, with 10 function rooms, 71 corporate suites and 6 unique outdoor venues, it is able to cater for 10 to 1,000 people.

Options include provision for guests to walk around the hallowed playing field and into the players inner sanctum – the dressing rooms, or dine on the open air concourse with a view overlooking the field. |
